Absorbable Medical Surgical Polyglactin 910 Braided Suture with Needle

VICRYL sutures are intended for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in ophthalmic surgery, peripheral nerve anastomosis and microsurgery for vessels less than 2 mm diameter.

Polyglactin 910 is an Absorbable Synthetic Suture, Multifilament, that comply all USP requirements.

Polyglactin 910 is made of a Poly (Glycolic-co-l-lactic) 90-10 and covered in Poly (Glycolic-co-l-lactic) 30 -70 of Calcium Stearate.

It is degraded by Chemical Hydrolysis, that later is absorbed and metabolized by the human body. The absorption process is followed by a mass loss and fully absorbed in 90 days.

It is available in violet color and sterilized by Ethylene Oxide.
