A Gauze Bandage is a thin, woven fabric medical bandage used for wound protection with highly absorbent material that ensures absorption of blood and other secretions from the site of a wound of injury. Apart from wound protection, a gauze bandage can also be used to hold dressings in place, to keep a wound clean, or even to directly apply on the surface of the injury.
